At the end of April, we hosted a very powerful conference, the first of its kind, where 28 world-leading scientists, academics and maternity leaders came together to talk about hot topics in infant health.

425 health professionals attended from all over the world (it was a virtual conference, so no travel necessary).

In total, the delegates, the speakers and myself as the host, spent 17 intense hours together, with keynote presentations on hot topics such as:

  • Perinatal neuroscience
  • The infant microbiome
  • Developmental overview of physiology in the first 24 hours
  • The bioactive components of human milk
  • Inequities in maternity care
  • Informed choice, parent guilt and much much more.
