New study: 6,101 Australian women answered the survey question ‘Would you do anything different if you were to have another baby?’
More than 85% of the responses said they’d do things differently next time around. Find out exactly what women actually want from their pregnancy and birth experiences in this blog-article.
Most Australian women would do things differently if they had another baby.
That’s according to new research by Dr Hazel Keedle and Professor Hannah Dahlen (who featured in our Microbirth film) and other researchers in a new study.
In the study, 6,101 Australian women answered the survey question ‘Would you do anything different if you were to have another baby?’
More than 85% of the responses came from women who said they would do things differently the next time around.
39.2% of comments said they wanted to avoid what happened in their previous pregnancy and birth experience.
The research was published by Keedle H. et al., in the British Medical Journal Open on 4th September 2023.
